Ideas for the Loadtest Portal

I would like to be able to switch between completed loops per minute AND pageviews on live dashboard

This solves the problem of showing what is relevant, historically we had a pageviews graph AND completed loops and showing both which took up too much space as the graph wasn't relevant in all cases but completed loops is as its the base value.

Being able to switch between completed loops and page views enables the best of both worlds in a way that if pageviews is the more relevant metric for a test the ability to switch to display that would have a big impact for some users.

The use case would be a user have a script with 3 steps instead of showing 100 completed loops per minute they want to see 300 page views per minute.

This is interesting. One follow up question:

In which use case would this benefit the user more than completed loops?

If a user tests a CMS or a News site for example pageviews makes more sense as this is how most websites measure themselves, pageviews per minute is thus right for the context here.

In general however loops is the more preferred metric as this can be described as a transaction or a user journey which can be correct in both context but might not always make sense depending on the user.

Considering these both it makes sense to have the ability to change how you view the test between pageviews per minute+response time per page AND loops per minute/response time for a full loop.

As the pageviews per minute value is easily calculated by taking loops/min multiplied with how many steps a test has.

loops per minute min*number of steps=pageviews/minute

and response time per page can be easily formulated by taking (sessiontime - thinktime)/steps
